Following the relocation of the Hovercraft & Seacat Ferry services to Calais, the Western Docks at Dover have, over recent years become surplus to requirements. No longer used, the former berthing structure had become de-lapidated and of no use the Ports operations. DDS secured the project to dismantle this structure and implemented a carefully thought out crane based dismantling methodology to great success.
