NEW Belanger SpinLite Tunnel @ Redwood City Car Wash

*Dedicated to the staff and management personnel for their hospitality* This facility was a hand wash until last week, when a SpinLite core equipment package was added to the tunnel. According to the owner, this is the first production-model Belanger SpinLite tunnel in California. Despite how the conveyor is about 160' long, the tunnel only uses 2 sets of DuoScrubbers (1 set friction, 1 set with the high pressure upgrade), 1 top brush, and the QuickFire/Sidewinder configuration seen at most other SpinLite tunnels. Some Tommy application arches and rainbars, along with an International Drying Corporation stainless steel flash dryer and a ProtoVest WindShear blower remain from the previous hand wash layout. Prior to getting a wash at this facility, I doubted that SpinLite equipment was capable of providing the same quality of cleaning that can be achieved with a traditional fast-spinning brush. To my surprise, the result was as good as what I have gotten at car washes that use standard foam brushes, such as Dapper Dan's in Santa Clarita, H2Go's site in Huntington Beach, and 7 Flags Sunrise Express.
