One thing to note on the bottom plate that I removed. There's a lever that must be seated properly into a switch when putting it back together. I believe it's for the battery check. Building my Leica Collection: The Leica bug stated with a strong desire for the Leica M6. I looked long and hard at Leica M3, because of the cost savings. However, I picked up the Canon P hoping it would satisfy my desire for Leica. It did, for a short while. Once I finally purchased my first Leica, I went with the M3. A couple of years later and I purchased the Leica Q2 monochrom. That fed my thirst for about a year. That is until I laid eyes on the new Leica M11-P. I knew I had to have it! Shortly after that purchase, I also picked up the Leica M6 reissue.
