Amity Village recreates the 1970s American harbor town from the movie "Jaws," and there's a lot to see: the giant man-eating shark photo spot by the entrance, Chief Brody's boat, the bronze statue honoring the fishermen, and the exterior of the Amity Landing Restaurant, modeled after the shipyard from the film. The ride itself is a roughly 7-minute sightseeing boat tour of the peaceful harbor town of Amity that turns into a fight for survival when a giant shark — about 6 m long and over 3 tons — attacks. The captain's rifle, the burning boathouse, the high-voltage electrocution: it's all here, straight from the boat. 🦈 ABOUT THE RIDE JAWS (Amity Village) Duration: approx. 7 minutes / 48 guests per boat A boat ride set in the world of the 1975 film "Jaws" ⚠️ You get pretty wet from the splashes — protect your camera and phone. ⚠️ There's stroller parking near the entrance, but it's an open area, so take valuables and bags with you to the boarding dock. 📍 Filmed on a weekday in August 2026, just after 10 AM. Wait time was about 40 minutes. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW At night everything goes dark and it's a completely different kind of scary — ride it both day and night if you can. Chief Brody's boat sits right beside the queue, so you can take a good look while you wait. The snack stand near the entrance sells bone-in sausages and seasonal limited-time sweets — great while exploring or waiting in line. The Amity Landing Restaurant has plenty of indoor seating if you need a break (exterior only in this video).
