Parents are called to love, protect, teach, listen to, encourage, and correct their children with wisdom and compassion. "And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of Yahuah." — Ephesians 6:4 Correction is necessary, but it should never become humiliation, cruelty, uncontrolled anger, or words that destroy a child's spirit. Parents, our words and actions matter. *Build your children up. Protect them. Listen to them. Correct them in love.* And when you are wrong, have the humility to apologize and make things right.
