Miko - Chosen One

This song would've been my first single from my first and only album ''Goodbye'' which I released over a year ago. You can listen whole instrumental album here:    • Miko - Goodbye (Full Instrumental Album)   ''Chosen One'' was written in December 2023 straight after things went sour with someone I was dating at the time. It's essentially love/hate song about relationships where verses are really angry but choruses are more poppier. ''Chosen One'' became first proper song I wrote for my album and it sparked inspiration to write many other songs around that time, such as ''Hey Marko'', ''I Don't Care'' and ''Goodbye''. This song has many things I did for the first time in my life: 95% of the song was written on bass; only outro riff was written on guitar This is my first song to use Drop D tuning Even if it's instrumental, it's the first and only song I recorded screaming vocal part I used many drum stems for the song instead of just one or two It's the first time I used double bass drums Solo has my fastest tapping ever, thus making it the hardest solo I ever wrote Song ends on bass riff which I had never done before This song is definitely my angriest and heaviest song I ever wrote. There are plenty of things to be proud of, but I really love outro madness the most. That riff is heavy as fuck and ending on that bass riff is just perfect, because it transitions nicely to next track ''I Don't Care'' which has the exact same bass riff right at the start.
