Lee Floyd, one of the world's top banjo players, brought a great group of musicians from New Orleans to Pensacola on Nov. 16, 2009. They performed for the Jazz Society's monthly "Jazz Gumbo". This particular "gumbo" was dedicated to the memory of long-time member and active volunteer Janet Knowles. Joining Lee: trumpeter Charlie Fardella; clarinetist/saxophonist Tom Fisher; trombonist Rick Trolsen; tuba/bassist Matt Perrine; pianist Richard Scott, and drummer John Etheridge.
