The German choral piece “Es Wird Ein Stern aus Jacob aufgehen” is often translated into English as either "There Shall a Star Come out of Jacob", or “ There Shall a Star from Jacob Come Forth”. One might recognize Bach’s harmonization of the Phillip Nicolai hymn-tune “Wie schön Leuchtet der Morgenstern” at the end of the chorus.
