Mary Chapin Carpenter - Songs From Home Episode 13: Why Shouldn't We

It’s time for #songsfromhome once again, and this episode features a very special appearance by the queen of nap time, White Kitty. This episode features a song from The Calling album, “Why Shouldn’t We”… during these times when we have no idea what the future looks like, when we are fearful and sad, when it’s easier to be cynical than it is to be inspired, I want to sing songs like this to remind me there is another way to be, there are many paths of faith, endless reasons to be thankful and always, always a reason to believe we can do better, together. So come on darling, feel your spirits rise Come on children, open up your eyes God is all around, Buddha’s at the gate Allah hears our prayers, it’s not too late Until the next time, be strong, be sturdy, stay well and #staymighty #whyshouldntwe #songsfromhome #blueridgemountains #virginia #whitekitty #angus #goldenretreiver #farmhousekitchen #stayhome #withme #weareallconnected #staythefuckhome #patienceismysuperpower #staymighty
