Auf ins neue Quartier: Dampflok GES 16 auf Überführung nach Weissach

Die Dampflok 16 der Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung von Schienenfahrzeugen überführte am 24. Januar 2021 eine Wagen-Leergarnitur nach Weissach und bezog dort das neue Quartier. Erstmals nach vielen Jahren sind die wertvollen Loks und Wagen nun dort unter Dach sicher verwahrt. Bei der Fahrt handelte es sich um eine nicht-öffentliche Betriebsfahrt. Gratulation an die GES und an deren Aktive! On 24 January 2021, steam locomotive 16 of the Society for the Preservation of Rail Vehicles transferred an empty set of wagons to Weissach and moved into its new quarters there. For the first time in many years, the valuable locomotives and wagons are now safely stored under roof. The journey was a non-public company tour. Congratulations to the GES and its active members!
