What if the greatest threat to your intimacy with God is actually your mindset towards the things you're doing for God? In this final sermon of our series walking through the parable of the Prodigal Son, we're going to see what happens when the older brother returns from the fields to find everyone celebrating the return of his younger brother. And how he responds actually reveals a lot about how he viewed himself and how he viewed his father. From this, we're going to find a warning against falling into two incredibly dangerous, and unfortunately, very common pitfalls we can experience in our own relationship with our Heavenly Father that we must avoid at all cost in order to protect our intimacy with Him.
