I Became German Champion! 🏆 Can I Do It Again? 👀 | Mario Kart DS Time Trials

After more than 16 years, I’ve finally become German #1 on the Mario Kart DS non PRB leaderboards! But that’s only half the job done, as there are two leaderboards on the players page. The second one is called ‘PRB’ and, as the name suggests, the difference is that the PRB glitch and shortcuts are permitted there. PRB (Prolonged Rocket Boost) is a glitch. If you get the perfect rocket start boost at the beginning of a race and continually mini-turbo (MT) without losing the MT boost for even one frame, the game lets you travel over all terrain at top speed. The PRB effect is lost as soon as you lose even a single frame of the MT boost (for example, if you activate the Mini-Turbo too slowly and your boost from the MT runs out before you trigger the next one). On some tracks, you can do this for the whole race and cut many corners by driving off-road at high speed. The current standings can be found here: https://www.mariokart64.com/mkds/afp....
