In this vlog I take you behind the scenes at the Lombard Rally Festival 2026 at Weston Park, one of the UK's most historic rally venues. From talking you through my camera settings and shooting technique to footage of the cars themselves, this is a full look at what it's like to photograph a historic rally event in the UK. On the day I was shooting with my Sony A7III paired with a 28-70mm and 70-200mm lens, covering everything from wide environmental shots of the estate to tight telephoto action of the rally cars at speed. The entry list was incredible, Ford Escorts, Group B machinery including the Audi Quattro, the legendary Lancia Stratos and the Ford Escort WRC all running on the tarmac stages through the grounds of Weston Park.
