Family River Cruise on Padma River | Winter Houseboat Trip on Joler Gaan

We enjoyed a beautiful winter day with family on a river cruise aboard the houseboat "Joler Gaan". The journey started from Dhaka as we traveled to Mawa Ghat on the Padma River (the main river of Bangladesh, originating from the Ganges in India) on a cold and foggy winter morning. After breakfast and warm Gur (molasses) tea, the cruise began with stunning views of the Padma Bridge. We visited a riverside village to see mustard fields, enjoyed a traditional Bengali lunch with Hilsha fish, spent time on a sandbank, and met a local farmer with his cows. All in all, it was a fantastic winter day trip, filled with family time, good food, nature, and unforgettable memories. Hope you enjoy watching this journey as much as we enjoyed living it!
