I Interviewed a Vampire — He Said He Was Saving Us, But the Reason Was Worse | True Creepy Story A journalist follows a payroll sheet into a dead freight depot... and meets a man who says he has been standing behind humanity's worst moments for eight hundred years. He says he is saving us. The reason is worse. Over nine nights and nine cassette tapes, Boyd hears a story that runs from the burning hills of Hattin to a stone crypt in Franconia, from a witch commission in Bamberg to the trenches of Verdun. Every date checks out. Every silence on the tape is real. And then he is handed a canvas bag. Turn the lights down, put on your headphones, and listen all the way to the end. The last ten minutes will stay with you. Did the envelope mean they lost... or that he was never the good man? Tell me what you think in the comments.
