God, I’m Tired of Waiting — Please Give Me the Grace to Keep Going

Tired of waiting? Tired of praying about the same thing and still not seeing an answer? This prayer is for the heart that is weary from waiting but still wants to trust God. Maybe you have been waiting for a breakthrough, a job, a relationship, financial provision, a change in your circumstances, or an answer to a prayer you have carried for a long time. Tonight, bring that waiting season before God. You do not have to pretend that waiting is easy. You do not have to have every answer. Come to God exactly as you are. In this prayer, we ask God for strength while we wait, wisdom for the next step, peace in uncertainty, freedom from comparison, patience in God's timing, and renewed hope when disappointment begins to weigh heavily on our hearts. Scriptures including Isaiah 40:31, Lamentations 3:22–23, Proverbs 3:5–6, Galatians 6:9, Psalm 37:7, Matthew 11:28–30, and Philippians 4:7 remind us that waiting does not mean God has forgotten us. You may not know when the answer will come. You may not know what God is doing behind the scenes. But you can ask Him for grace to take the next faithful step.
