11 Places in America’s National Parks Where Rangers Warned Us - My Wife and I Learned Why

What happens when a ranger warns you, and you think you know better? I found out at the top of a long trail in the Grand Canyon, when a ranger looked at my one water bottle and asked my wife, “Ma’am, is he always like this?” She said yes. In this video I take you to eleven national park spots where rangers warned us: the Anhinga Trail in the Everglades, Thunder Hole in Acadia, the Badlands Loop, Longs Peak, Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone, Many Glacier, Rialto Beach, Vernal Fall in Yosemite, Angels Landing in Zion, Racetrack Road in Death Valley, and the Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon. For each place I tell you what the ranger said, why they said it, what happened when I didn’t listen, what houses cost in the nearest town when I looked, and whether I’d live there. Vultures, rattlesnakes, lightning, grizzlies, tides and heat, and one hike my wife carried me out of. Those rangers weren’t there to spoil my day.
