My Husband Took Over My Christmas Village (And It's Better!)

I spent hours setting up my Christmas Village, thinking it was finished... until my husband took over and changed everything. It started as a simple set up, with me covering the boxes of my Lemax village with a white sheet to give levels. My husband had other ideas. He built a custom wooden platform for the back of the village. We ran the grass matting on top and used brick paper (from a model railway store) to make it look like a wall. He finished the transformation with a grand staircase he made out of wood he had laying around the shed. As always, he had the vision to make things better. While it did add a few more days onto my village reveal, I think the wait was worth it. We use mainly Lemax in our village with some white buildings up the back from the cheap stores. The carousel in there is also an old Mr Christmas one I have had for more than 20 years. What did you think?
