Exarcheia the Alternative Heart of Athens | July 2026

We track the Saturday rhythm of Exarcheia, weaving through narrow streets where political posters peel over stacks of radical literature. We transition from the quiet, paper-scented aisles of independent bookstores into the clatter of traditional tavernas, capturing the steam of midday stews and the unhurried clinking of carafes against sun-drenched pavement.
