Glamorous Vanuatu: 'The happiest place on Earth'

It is often called the happiest place on Earth. In the local language, its name means "The Eternal Land." Vanuatu is made up of 82 islands in the South Pacific. Its fertile soil produces an abundance of fruit and vegetation, where ancient tribal tradition lives side by side with modernity. It is one of the most distant lands on the planet, but remains connected with the rest of the world through tourism and trade. A former colony that only found independence in 1980, Vanuatu cherishes freedom more than anything. Join us on CGTN Documentary from May 8 to 9 as we explore the mysteries of this beautiful and ancient culture in "Glamorous Vanuatu."
