Best Support for Lucy (Updated) - Reverse 1999

#reverse1999guide I choose this fight as this is the only UTTU stage that I can last more than 6-7 Rounds as I needed to check on the buffer/debuffer's rotation to ensure how consistent they can be in keeping up with their buff duration while still allowing Lucy to attack frequently. 0:00 6 - 5 Rounds Clear I am pretty surprised myself that 6 pairs up did better than the rest. But 6 buff although random, if we manage to get both Incantation Might and Penetration Rate (which is guaranteed to get both buffs provided that we use two of 6 buff incantation within 2 rounds). 6 is P2 in this run, but I only actually did use Empowerment only once in this fight and I think my Eureka was already overflowing anyway, meaning a P1 6 would have gotten similar results. His Ulti did help in removing a chunk of HP from the Boss. But I would say, he gaining Eureka did help in gaining Dynamo for Lucy as well. 4:31 Kakania - 6 Rounds Clear Kakania P0 is rather interesting that she actually contribute in this fight through her Ult as well. Since Genesis Dmg by passes Def and dmg reduction, she was able to deal quite a huge chunk of DMG to the Boss. While she may be good for this fight, and Raids, she might not be that good on short fights where it end too quickly like UTTU and Limbo. 9:23 Vila - 8 Rounds Clear Vila P0 but she is at a huge disadvantage. She cannot attack and drop Burn on the enemy which is one of the mechanics in this fight. Lucy cannot trigger her Follow-Up Atk meaning Vila's buff is also not triggered. So here she is in the last place, let's scrap her off the ranking for this test. 15:47 - Semmelweis - 6 Rounds Clear Semmelweis P0, she also clears in 6 rounds, her Ulti giving her a moxie really helps with her Rotation and ensuring her buff can be managed pretty comfortably. One thing to point out that in a longer fight, I would have probably needed to actively use Tooth Fairy healing to not die. So I would have wasted an AP that otherwise could had been for Lucy. I made this remark about AP to explain about Getian's performance below. 20:50 - Getian - 6 Rounds Clear Not that I HATE Getian, but quite a number highlighted that he is the best support for Lucy as he provides Reality DPS dmg boost and also have Reality Def Down. I agree on paper he seems to be the best, but AP management is not easy for Getian, and he hits like wet noodle. In this run, I use P1 Getian, and he also only gotten 6 Rounds Clear, and each time I want to get his Ulti back up, I have to use quite some AP to get so. Comparing to Semmelweis, if I have to use an AP for healing, Getian needs it to get moxie. This fight was supposed to be advantageous for Getian, because there is no other way to get Dynamo quickly, and Getian provides that for Lucy. Yet he only managed to clear in 6 rounds. So here is my ranking, my final judgment for support for Lucy, including the previous test, and their overall kit. Rank 1. Vila, I still think she is better and often we bring Lucy for fights that have ads we can kill to trigger more Follow-Up Atk. Not that Lucy won't work but I would rather use Windsong or other ST oriented DPS with afflatus advantage. Rank 2. I have to give it to 6, if I have to spend AP trying to get moxie, I could also use it on 6's buff to get incantation might and penetration which is huge buffs for Lucy. Plus he also provides Lucy with more Dynamo. But if he was at P0 I think he would also need 6 Rounds to clear. Just that althought his buff are RNG, his gameplay is actually less subceptible to RNG, if you don't get his incantations, U can choose to let him stand there and he still contributes to the party. Rank 3 Kakania. Well technically only if against bosses with high resistance (later stage of Raid), then she also provide amazing Atk if she has high empathy. Then she is a tank and protect the party, making her a solid options. My go to team are now Lucy, 6, Kakania, and Vila!! Rank 4 Getian So now comparing Getian and Semmelweis, I rank Getian higher although I really hate Getian's incantation and I felt using his incantation to get to his Ulti is such a waste of AP. At P0 it is difficult to ensure his Ulti is up all the time! This test was with P1 and his Ult field effect has +1 turn duration. Rank 5 Semmelweis While I am pretty impressed with her performance in this test, but to be honest, if you are not careful, your party might die, especially when you losses [Blood Domain] losing 20% dmg reduction and your HP is low, if you dont heal back, your party will probably die.
