Algeria begins local assembly of AW139 helicopters in partnership with Leonardo Helicopters, strengthening its defense industry. The Ain Arnat facility in Setif will produce military and civilian helicopters, enhancing Algeria’s aviation capabilities. This project, part of a 70-helicopter deal, marks a significant step in military modernization and industrial self-sufficiency.
