Ep 226 Meet the 2023-24 North Carolina Regional Teachers of the Year

On this episode of Education Matters we’re joined by the 2023-24 Burroughs Wellcome Fund North Carolina Teacher of the Year as well as members of the 2023-24 regional Teachers of the Year cohort. These educators earned their titles as Teachers of the Year through dedicated service to their students and communities and will now get to represent their fellow educators across the state. During the episode they share their hopes for the school year, exciting things happening in their respective districts and insight into teachers’ perspectives on ongoing North Carolina education issues.
