Basque Country — Solo Bikepacking Trip

A little throwback to the strange COVID summer of 2020. I made this trip and video back then, but misunderstood YouTube’s copyright rules and was afraid to upload it because of the copyrighted music. So, six years later, here it finally is. This was my second ever “big” bikepacking trip (a whole three days!) and my first solo one. With international travel complicated for obvious reasons, I decided to head north and explore one of the most beautiful parts of Spain: the Basque Country. The route started in Pamplona, passed through San Sebastián, and finished in Bilbao: 307 km and 4,000+ m of climbing. Cliffs, ocean, beaches, fishing villages, pintxos, rain and sunshine — those three days had it all. And by the end of the trip, I had completely fallen in love with this Spanish region.
