The Beatles - "Drive My Car" (Bass Cover)

Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe for more videos HAPPY RUBBER SOUL SUPER DELUXE RELEASE DAY!!!! This has probably been one of the most interesting tracks for me to work through during this project. The bass part itself is fantastic, aggressive, melodic & incredibly prominent in the arrangement (especially since it's doubled by George's guitar) but figuring out how Paul actually got that sound has sent me much further down the rabbit hole than I expected. Rather than relying solely on photographs, session documentation or sixty years of conventional wisdom, I decided to actually test it. The result was pretty convincing. And we will explore this and more in Exploring The Bass Tones of Rubber Soul, coming to a Ryan Hendry Music channel near you sooner rather than later. I hope. STAY TUNED And yes, I know there's a bum note, forgive me ENJOY!!!!!!
