Art in the Public Square: The Stories Our Spaces Tell

Art in the Public Square: The Stories Our Spaces Tell On October 6, 2026, the Parikh Giving Alliance hosted its Arts Collaboration Circle, bringing together creative and community leaders to explore how public art shapes the spaces we share, reflects community identity and tells stories that might otherwise go unseen. The conversation featured Vicki Landon of Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs, Gisela Romero, Orlando visual artist, and Gareth Edwards, founder of A Perfect Union Art Gallery, with Dr. Beena M. Parikh, co-founder of the Parikh Giving Alliance, guiding the discussion. From murals and installations to creative expression in unexpected places, the panel explored how art can inspire connection, shift perspectives and transform everyday spaces.
