The Banished Suite | Halo Infinite (Original Soundtrack)

The Banished have been built up since their debut in Halo Wars 2 and other supplemental, expanded material. To elevate themselves as the new antagonists to battle Master Chief, a theme was created to befit their grand return. Utilizing double bass for the motif to emphasize Escharum's weight and heft according to Gareth Coker, his theme also utilizes a sound akin to a reverbed, digitized monkey howl, heavy and tribal percussion, and a secondary motif that's used for the boss battles and hectic encounters with The Banished.
