Teaching Health in Moldova

Peace Corps’ Health Education program began in Moldova in 1997, until then the health education subject has not been taught in Moldovan schools. This video highlights two current volunteers, Ellen and Samantha, who are working alongside their Moldovan counterparts to promote healthy lifestyles across the country. You’ll also meet Samantha’s husband, a community and organizational development volunteer. The video is in English and Romanian, with subtitles. It is among a series of videos produced for the 25th anniversary of Peace Corps Moldova.
