"Previously unreleased. This track was part of the “Certain Sculptures” sessions. As with most album recordings of the time, you cut more tracks than you could use on one album. It builds nicely and has a powerful arrangement. I personally thought it should have been on the record". Keyboards Special thanks to Eric Carter / Keyboards, who played with us on our US tour and is featured in many of the photos. Written by: Dan Phillips Arrangement: A Drop in the Gray Produced by Bob Shulman "The sessions were interesting for me in that all the guitar tracks were cut at the very end, which is in relatively unusual order. Everything else was already recorded - including the final vocals, by the time I came in and did all the guitar parts. The reason…thanks to a dog bite on my middle left finger - right on the bone, that got infected, courtesy of my girlfriend at the times poodle FiFi. I was in hospital for 2 weeks and recuperating a further 6 weeks until it healed enough to play guitar. The sessions were booked at the studio, and the time allotted, so we had no option but to use the time, and shuffle the recording schedule to make guitars last. Going in to start, all the tracks were very keyboard heavy, which was a big part of the bands sound - but with NO guitars at all, it was unbalanced. Still, it all got done in the end and is a record I’m very proud of. This video is a slideshow collage of photos I’ve had. From early shows outdoors, clubs in Los Angeles, California with some other members before we signed with Geffen Records, in the studio, photo sessions, marketing pics, the band on tour, and other miscellaneous. Excuse the graininess on some of them, and the emphasis on me, by default I just had more pics of myself given to me than I had of the band or other members". Colin Campbell   / colincampbell_music
