The Final Hunt for Teddy Kasanga

When Gaza Gang leader Mwa-neh Sparta was killed in August 2017, many believed one of Kayole's most feared criminal gangs had finally come to an end. They were wrong. His trusted deputy, Teddy Kasanga, escaped the deadly Flying Squad operation and became the last boss of the Gaza Gang. Over the next three months, he rebuilt the gang, launched deadly attacks on police officers, evaded detectives across multiple counties, and became one of Kenya's most wanted gangsters. From violent robberies and police ambushes to the dramatic Kenol siege, hostage-taking, and the final shootout in Tala, Machakos County, this documentary follows the nationwide manhunt that ended the reign of the last surviving Gaza Gang leader. But before becoming one of Kenya's most feared criminals, Teddy Kasanga looked like an ordinary high school student. How did a quiet teenager become the last boss of the Gaza Gang? This is the true story of Teddy Kasanga, the rise and fall of the Gaza Gang, and one of the biggest police manhunts in modern Kenyan criminal history.
