Aluminum Trash Slag Melt | ASMR Metal Melting - Garbage To Greatness

In this video I will be melting down some slag which is the dross that forms on top of molten aluminum. When melting aluminum, the molten metal forms an oxide barrier which needs to be removed before pouring the metal. Usually after skimming the dross off the top, there is still some good aluminum mixed in which is what I'll be re-melting today. After melting down the slag that most people would throw away, I ended up with 504grams (1.1lbs) of clean aluminum which I can use on future projects.
