NBA2K27 Spurs vs Cavaliers "Tim Duncan's first game" of Now Meets Legends October 30 2026/1999

This season, the league expands by adding three teams with deep historical ties to the sport: the Philippines, home to the second-oldest professional basketball league in history after the NBA; Team USA, a unified North American franchise that transitions from its Canadian foundation while honoring its roots by keeping elite local talent on the squad through designated "Heritage Imports," paving the way for the Toronto Raptors to slowly transition into a fully Canadian national team. To kickstart the franchise, NBA players have been contracted to fill out the initial roster. Over time, actual national team players will be integrated. In this unique basketball universe, today's current rosters collide with the legends of the 1999–2000s era. This means you will see these iconic players exactly as they were at that specific moment in time, frozen at their 1999 age and peak physical status. While managing trades under modern salary caps is a careful balancing act for now, a more refined trading system will be gradually established as time goes on.
