Making A British G Scale Locomotive Out Of A LGB Stainz #gardenrailway

I apologise for my absence over the last month, I have been very busy with projects and filming content for my main channel so unfortunately this channel was put on the back burner. However I am back now with another project that i have been wanting to do since I built the garden railway. Having a British Looking narrow gauge steam locomotive. After purchasing a non working Stainz locomotive at a good price I set about stripping the loco down, removing the RC gear and start hacking it to pieces to make it more anglicised. This meant removing the large spark catcher chimney and replacing with a white metal British one, as well as replacing the dome with a more British looking white metal piece as well. Extended water tanks were also 3d printed and added to make the loco into a side tank locomotive. I then set about the painstaking task of painting and lining the locomotive which was no mean feat! This took around a week to do so unfortunately I concentrated more on getting the project done rather than filming. I hope you enjoy what I did film, and I'm very pleased with the locomotive.
