Several co-workers and friends of Matthew and Rachel Konen testified about their relationship and their interactions with Rachel’s father, David Rodgers. The witnesses said the trio appeared to have a good relationship and that Rodgers loved his grandchildren. They also discussed Matthew’s financial situation, work life, and knowledge of firearms. The former paramedic is accused of fatally shooting his wife and beating his father-in-law to death.
