I thought I was finally getting closer to Silver... and then Street Fighter 6 reminded me how much I still have to learn. Welcome to *SF6 JOURNEY #025 — FROM ZERO → FIGHTER!* I'm a 44-year-old beginner learning Street Fighter 6 with Ryu and Classic Controls. My goal is simple: improve one match at a time and hopefully reach Master rank someday. But this episode was a painful reality check. Things started well. I won two of my first three matches against Marisa, climbed to **4,660 LP**, and felt like I was making real progress toward Silver. Then everything fell apart. First came two losses against a Silver-ranked Ed. Then more defeats against Marisa, another Ed player, and finally Akuma. *EIGHT LOSSES IN A ROW.* My LP dropped from a session high of 4,660 to just 4,360, and I fell back from Bronze 5★ to Bronze 4★. I'm not going to pretend this session didn't frustrate me. It did. A lot. But this series isn't only about victories. It's about learning a fighting game from scratch at 44, making mistakes, dealing with frustration, and trying to become a better player.
