Full Route Visual | London Bus Route SL12 - Gants Hill to Rainham, Ferry Lane | (82309e) LX26ZHE

The SL12 is operated by Stagecoach London using Wright Electroliner EV's from Rainham [RM] Garage. The route runs limited stop from Gants Hill, Newbury Park, Chadwell Heath, Romford, Queen's Hospital, Hornchurch, Elm Park & Rainham. I'll be honest, the route is quite irrelevant. I didn't really expect much from this route. It is not called for at all and I believe a route connecting Harrow, Barnet, Enfield & Chingford would've been a better investment. At least the route is not alloacted to BD11's despite being inexcusably delayed from April 2026. They could've just used existing EV's from other routes and then slowly introduced these like SL11. The route itself overserves too many bus stops for an express route. If anything, it shouldn't serve Horns Road and the three stops in between Elm Park Station and Rainham Tesco. Above everything mentioned, why does this express randomly terminate at an industrial estate. And it doesn't even go deep within the estate (just the beginning) - so people still have to walk all the way down. I'd rather it terminate at Lakeside Bus Station via the A13. Let's be honest: The 103 should have just been re-routed between Rainham Tesco and the Station and been the one to terminate around the Rainham, Ferry Lane Industrial Estate. Like what kind of express route terminates at an industrial estate TfL???!!! Alright, so the experience was quite bland and I didn't enjoy it for a number of reasons: Firstly, the driver didn't want to be recorded so I just moved the camera away from him and blurred him out so that there are no issues. So when I was done, I exited the bus and went towards the back to prevent further issues. I didn't want a 178 incident again so if he forced me to delete the video by closing the doors at the back, I 100% would've have forced those doors open I don't care. Secondly, in Elm Park there was some stupid incident where some Cash-In-Transit officer person decided to park on the roundabout preventing large vehicles from passing through. So for like 4 minutes, we were stuck and everyone was beeping. I'll be honest, if the driver just reversed "early", then there would've been no problem, but then a pile of vehicles pulled up behind him. Then the attitude of the van driver just insanely annoyed me as if he just didn't care at all. No apology, just blaming the driver. And then there was someone upstairs spam swearing on the bus ruining the full journey audio for a good minute. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy today's visual!
