It is located along the shore of the Arabian Sea in Kemari District Mubarak Village, Karachi's second-largest fishing locality, lacks basic facilities such as a jetty, gas, health, and education, despite having existed since before Pakistan's independence. Most of the local people are involved in fisheries. The major economic activity in the village is fishing, followed by construction and community, social, and personal services.
