We will have a look at multiple samples of each instrument, from bad to good recording quality, so you can see how a mixer treats them to achieve a good starting point for further sound shaping. Most instruments have similar issues, but there is a lot of nuance that can be difficult to hear and notice for most people starting to mix. I want to break down this barrier and help you identify problematic areas quickly and easily, so you can focus on creating music. Horns have a lot of harshness and resonances, which makes it challenging to capture and mix them.
