Digital vs Thermal: Solving the Pigeon Problem on the Farm

Can a thermal scope really help you find pigeons during daylight? We return to the farm for a challenging pigeon pest-control session using the FX DRS 600 and FX DRS 700. Dense trees, strong wind and pigeons hiding deep inside the branches make this a proper real-world test of both the Nocpix BOLT H50R thermal scope and DNT Zulus V2 digital optic. The Nocpix BOLT H50R is used to scan the trees and locate hidden pigeons using their heat signatures, while the DNT Zulus V2 provides a detailed daylight view for identification and precise pest-control work. Distances range from approximately 35 metres to beyond 60 metres, giving us the opportunity to compare JTS 25gr pellets and Inferno slugs under difficult farm conditions.
