This week's parkrun comes from Clifton Park in Rotherham. This was a lovely parkrun, a challenge... but definitely a good one to do. First thing you should know, it's not flat - the best to describe it is three laps of ups and downs! In a nuthsell, it's three clockwise laps of the park finishing in front of the museum. It's ran completely on tarmac paths with a few bits quite tight, especially on a few of the uphill sections. If you are a fast runner then I would get to the front before the start otherwise you might find yourself playing overtake for the first half of a kilometre - you'll also benefit from one of the main down hill parts. This had a great, friendly and local vibe to it with great volunteers who are more than helpful and also really keep the energy levels going - which is needed with the hills!! There's paid parking within the park, make sure you pay as we did get warned about wardens checking. I parked on the perimeter of the park which was free, but in short demand. There are toilets located at Walker Cafe which is just by the finish line. Onto the race and I was slightly slower than in previous weeks, I haven't ran much since last Saturday but I felt good - I think it was just the nature of the course in all honesty, it was tough. I finished with a time of 26:29 and was second in my age category so all in all, a good Saturday! Anyway, onto the next one as being a parkrun tourist starts again, so if you have any parkrun suggestions then drop them in the comments 💬 Just to add, this is a full real-time (sped up) 5K POV so hopefully this will be handy to you as a parkrun course preview, especially if you're interested in parkrun tourism like me or if you just like watching running! 👍 Like, subscribe and turn on notifications for more running POVs and course previews    / @runpeterun   #parkruntourism #rotherham #povrunning #5krunning #runningmotivation
