20260628 - The Rejection of Jesus

Jesus was rejected by people in His own hometown. But did they really know who they were rejecting? In today's service Pastor Peter teaches on the rejection of Jesus, and His response to the rejection. As you watch, keep these five questions in mind: 1. Why did the people of Nazareth reject Jesus, even though they knew him well? 2. How can familiarity with Jesus lead to unbelief or a "functional" faith in our own lives? 3. What does Jesus' response to the unbelief in Nazareth teach us about faith and His work in our lives? 4. What does it mean to honor Jesus, and how does honoring Him affect our relationship with Him? 5. How does Jesus' rejection in Nazareth ultimately point us to His rejection on the cross and the hope of the gospel?
