🚒🔥MAJOR HOUSE FIRE IN ERITH London Fire Brigade crews responded to a serious house fire on Collins Way, Erith, where flames severely damaged a three-storey semi-detached property. The fire destroyed the roof, causing it to collapse, with the second floor also destroyed as a result of the roof structure failing. The fire was also threatening the neighbouring property, making the quick response from firefighters crucial in preventing the blaze from spreading further. A 32-metre LFB aerial ladder was deployed to help firefighters tackle the flames from height. Six LFB fire engines and around 30 firefighters attended, with crews from Bexley, Erith, Greenwich and surrounding stations responding. Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) also assisted London Fire Brigade at the incident. Firefighters had the fire under control by 14:36.
