Brett Green presents Due Diligence, joint work by Brendan Daley, Thomas Geelen, and Brett Green, at the Accounting and Economics Society webinar recorded on September 22, 2023. The presentation examines buyers' information gathering after an offer is accepted, and its implications for transaction prices, deal completion, and welfare. The framework also considers the timing of due diligence, bidder heterogeneity, and breakup fees.
