LORD, LOOK AT ALL OF THIS Written by Don McCutchen | Inspirational Country Music Sometimes God's greatest blessings aren't the things we're waiting for Him to give us. They're the things He's already given us that we've been too busy to notice. “Lord, Look at All of This” was inspired by a beautiful fall morning at my home in Mississippi. I was sitting underneath the carport in my favorite chair, enjoying a warm cup of blueberry coffee. The dogs were barking in the distance, the sky was bright blue, and the sunlight was shining through the beautiful autumn leaves. Nothing extraordinary was happening. Just another fall morning. Or was it? As I watched the leaves changing colors and felt that cool October breeze, I began thinking about how quickly the seasons of life come and go. We've all experienced sunshine and storms, laughter and tears, blessings and burdens. And sometimes we become so busy worrying about what's wrong in our lives that we forget to appreciate everything God has made right. That's when the thought for this song came to my heart: “I may not have everything I've wanted, but Lord, look at all this!” The same God who clothes the lilies of the field and cares for the birds of the air has never stopped watching over us. Matthew 6:28 (KJV) reminds us: "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:" The seasons may change, our circumstances may change, and our lives may change, but God's faithfulness never changes. My prayer is that this song encourages you to slow down, look around, count your blessings, and thank God for the simple things in life. Because sometimes life's richest blessings don't cost us a dime. They just require a little of our time. And remember: You may not have everything you want, but don't overlook everything God has already given you! If this song encourages you, please LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE. I'd love to hear in the comments about one simple blessing you're thankful for today.
