In the video we compare 3 pairs of hoops: Craviotto triple flange hoops Gretsch Die Cast hoops ANGEL HOOPS / stainless steel All snare drums were tuned with a DrumDial tuner with the same parameters: batter side: 86 reso side: 87 The snares have a Remo Ambassador head on top and a Remo Ambassador snare side head on the bottom In the recording, a Shure SM57 microphone took the snare sound and in post-production we didn't use any EQ settings on the snares.
