If you’ve never been to Petrified Forest National Park, you’re missing out. It has so much more to offer than just giant logs. Not to say that those giant logs aren’t amazing, because they are. See beautiful painted desert views at Tiponi Point overlook Hike a colorful trail of blues and grays at Blue Mesa View 2,000 year old petroglyphs at Newspaper Rock overlook And of course walk through a forest filled with petrified wood on the Giant Logs Trail. Let’s not forget that. I mean it is named Petrified Forest National Park after all. We saw the best (at least that’s what we think) of Petrified on our day trip to this unique park.
