Q&A: What is the difference among พูด, บอก, and คุย??? Many of you asked me this question, here is my simple explanation. ⭐️ พูด (pûut) to speak / to say You just speak without having someone listening, or the act of speaking out. You can also speak with yourself "พูดคนเดียว" púut kon-diiao ⭐️ บอก (bàawk) to tell You are telling something so you need a listener to listen to you. It's the action of one person telling something. ⭐️ คุย (kui) to talk This demands two sides of the conversation.
