J&K News: Shiv Sena Backs JKAS Officer Beenish Wani, Demands IAS Action Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) Jammu Kashmir unit has strongly supported woman JKAS officer Beenish Wani over alleged misbehaviour by a senior IAS officer. State President Manish Sahni demanded a fair investigation and removal of the concerned IAS officer from important responsibilities till the inquiry is completed. Sahni said that misbehaviour with a junior woman officer on an official platform like a review meeting raises serious questions on administrative culture and accountability. He said position does not give anyone the right to cross limits. He also said after the merger of J&K IAS, IPS cadres into AGMUT cadre in Jan 2021, local coordination and accountability has weakened.
