The Rising - Live At Féile Lughnasadh 2022 in Milltown, County Kerry

The Rising were formed to coincide with the centenary of the Easter Rising in 2016 and since then they have built a reputation for their lively, traditional Irish music, performing in their hometown of Killarney and further afield throughout Ireland, the UK and Germany. The Rising performed live and open-air on the Gig Rig at the inaugural Féile Lughnasadh Festival in Milltown, County Kerry on Friday 29th of July. The festival was organized by the Milltown-Listry branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann with all events put on free of charge, with live performances on the Gig Rig by Sharon Shannon, Jiggy, The Evans Family, Uí Bhriain and local musicians.
