Unexpected Adventure in Shivapuri! Fully Off-Road Ride to Tareeveer

Buddhanilkantha to Shivapuri National Park Off-Road Adventure Ride | Tareeveer Trail | Kathmandu Moto Vlog In today’s adventurous travel vlog, we start our journey from Buddhanilkantha Temple, one of the most iconic and sacred temples in Kathmandu. After offering prayers and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the Sleeping Vishnu, we continued our exploration toward Shivapuri National Park, a popular destination for hiking and nature lovers. But instead of the usual hiking trails, we decided to take our adventure to another level! With official permission from the authorities, we rode our bikes deep inside the national park — from Shivapuri gate all the way to Tareeveer, a route famous for its steep climbs, rocky surfaces, narrow turns, and completely off-road terrain. This was not just a ride… it was an off-road challenge! Throughout the trail, we met several hiking groups who were totally shocked and confused seeing bikes inside Shivapuri. Their reactions were priceless as they tried to understand how we managed to bring motorcycles into such a difficult route. The ride pushed our bikes and our skills to the limit — slippery mud, sharp stones, unexpected bumps, and breathtaking nature views everywhere. After reaching Tareeveer, we took a short break, enjoyed our lunch, rested up, and captured some amazing pictures of the surrounding landscape. For the return journey, we chose the Bouddha route, riding through beautiful scenic roads and peaceful monasteries. And to complete our full Kathmandu exploration, we ended the day at the Mulpani Cricket Ground, enjoying the calm atmosphere after an intense off-road adventure.
